In a major boost for Nigeria’s evolving ICT arena, Google has appointed Nigerian Software Engineer Muhammad Auwal as the Regional Manager for its Developer Student Club Programme.

This programme is meant to develop a new generation of tech-savvy Africans who are expected to launch the continent into the fourth industrial revolution.

Auwal took to Twitter to make the announcement.

Auwal brings a huge wealth of experience building for both the Mobile and Web Platform.

He is very passionateabout engineering and community building which led him to lead many technical communities where he helps otherenthusiasts to improve their skillsets.

He is a top-notch speaker on technical and community-related topics.
