In an effort to contribute to the growth of entrepreneurship, a technology blog, CFAtech.ng is to organise a pitch session to create an opportunity for startups to attract investors.
“The session will serve as an avenue for entrepreneurs to tell prospective investors their stories as well as the need to invest in their businesses.
“Applicants should note that ideas to be pitched should meet certain criteria such as solving specific problems, having unique selling points and having marketability and business model, etc.,” Chukwuemeka Agbata, CFAtech.ng Founder, said.
Agbata said in the statement issued in Lagos that the growth of entrepreneurs was paramount to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
“As part of its initiative to deepen its support for startups in Nigeria, technology blog, CFAtech.ng has opened entries for a pitch session.
“Interested startups are expected to sign up/submit their ideas at startups.cfatech.ng., while those who want to observe the pitch session must register on https://goo.gl/forms/xVrGYSSi4Rkxwseo1.
“The pitch session will hold on May 24, and the winner of the pitch will have a one-on-one with CFA,” Agbata said.
He said that successful stories would trigger the interest of investors.
“It gladdens my heart to see these startups scale up as Touchabl recently got a seed fund while MyPadi has been on another level,” he said.
