Nigeria’s Medical startup life bank has emerged as the star price winner of Jack’s Ma Netpreneur Prize.
The Lagos-based blood delivery company connects registered blood banks to hospitals and patients in need of urgent blood supplies.
While speaking at the final pitch event held in Ghana the CEO of Lifebank, Temie Giwa-Tubosun said that:
“The Africa Netpreneur Prize will give me the resources to grow LifeBank and expand our presence in Nigeria and throughout the rest of Africa. I look forward to continuing my journey to solve problems and make a significant impact on the future of Africa.”
As the star Prize winner life banks go home with $250,000 cash prize from the $1 million available for the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative 2019 (ANPI), the other finalists will split the other half
Life bank is already working towards cutting their delivery time they will be using Drones to supply blood in emergency situations where patients are hard to reach.
