Meet the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra released on the 29th of January, 2021 definitely came ready to take over the market. Advertisements and reviews seem to have only scratched the surface in bringing to light the amazing qualities of this phone.

For people who rely majorly on phones for work, space and camera quality, this gadget (as I love to call it) makes all the difference in the world. With a size of 6.8 inches and a built-in memory space of 512GB, it’s easier to store thousands of high-res pictures and videos. You’re probably wondering what happens “if” the phone crashes (emphasis on if). The goodnews is the Microsoft OneDrive with automatic file syncing straight to cloud is the backup plan.

One eye catching thing about this phone is the picture-in-a-picture idea- what I like to call it. It’s so interesting that alongside the speed in taking clear images and the noiseless control of exposure time, it’s 40mp selfie camera, 12mp ultra wide camera and 108mp camera – the highest resolution on a smartphone, allows you take a picture from a video or another picture!

Other features of the camera include the LED flash, auto-HDR, panorama and for the selfie camera, dual video call.

I believe it is worthy of note that the Corning Gorilla glass victus delivers the best scratch and damage protection which makes it the toughest glass on a Samsung phone. With a top notch security; Samsung Knox to prevent chip up and Samsung Knox vault for encrypting biometric data, comes a new ultrasonic finger print sensor that unlocks faster and with more accuracy.

What about the battery life?

Guess what? It’s battery life is 5000mAh  and it charges even faster than normal phones with 100% charge in one hour with the 25w Travel Adapter. It also comes with USB power delivery 3.0 and fast wireless charging 2.0 which gives quick power-up without the cable and wireless power share to charge buds, watch or even other phones.

Other goodies include 5g network (depending on the country, network provider, user environment), very good loud speaker, stereo speaker and the single or dual SIM characteristic. Besides I don’t know how many android phones are water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It comes in sleek Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, Phantom Brown colours although Galaxy S21+ 5g in Phantom pink is only available in South Korea. This is because the colour availability may vary depending on country or carrier.

It’s the highest resolution photos and videos for me. What’s yours?
