NITDA To Provide Data Centres For NASRDA

Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), commits to look into provision of a Data Centre for National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA).
Dr. Pantami made this known while receiving the Director General of NASRDA Professor Seidu Mohammed and his Management team at the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
The DG commended the visitants, stressing that it is of paramount importance for Government Agencies to work together for overall interest of the Nation.
Pantami pledged the Agency’s support for collaboration. “Working together is necessary, nobody has monopoly of knowledge”, he said adding that “alone we can do little, together we can do much”.
Speaking earlier, Prof. Mohammed identified NASRDA as major stakeholders in IT industry, solicited collaboration in area of capacity building.
He revealed that NASRDA is a leading space Agency in Africa, stating that the government organization will soon launch the first Satellite in African at a Miami Base Station in United States of America (USA).
